Restricted Permit: Individual will be issued this license if qualification is completed with any type of handgun other than a semi-automatic. ( This individual will not be allowed to carry a semi-automatic)

Unrestricted Permit: Individual qualifies with a semi-automatic and will be allowed to carry any legal handgun.
