1. Always keep
the gun pointed in a safe direction.
2. Always keep your finger off the trigger and
out
of the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.
3. Know your target and what is beyond.
4. Be sure the gun is safe and know how to operate
it safely.
5. Use the correct ammunition at all times.
6. Wear ear and eye protection as appropriate.
7. Never, Ever, use alcohol or drugs before or
while shooting.
8. Always store all firearms so that they are
not accessible to unauthorized persons.
9. Treat
all firearms as if they were loaded at all times.
If you have children in the house, you must
be responsible. I strongly urge you to consider purchasing one of the keypad
operated handgun safes, such as ones made by Mossberg or GunVault just to
name a couple.
