The following general information is provided as being as complete and up-to-date as possible. For specific course information, consult your dive training organization or dive Instructor for current details. Administrative
    In general students are required to read, understand, complete and signed the following forms prior to beginning class or engaging in water activities. Minor aged students are also required to have parental/legal guardian approval for course participation in writing on all forms, applications and releases.

• Text, books, class/course materials
• Student File Folder
• Medical Statement and Medical History for each course. Medical fitness to dive is solely the student's physicians area of responsibility.
• Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding
• Liability Release and Express Assumption of Risk
• Emergency Contact Information
• Student Record of Training
• Logbook and other miscellaneous paperwork
• Payment of course fees, tuition, open water dive fees; rentals, etc.
• Acquisition of personal academic materials and supplies
• Acquisition of personal gear

Equipment & Personal Items
    The following is a general listing of student responsibilities for their own " personal dive gear ". Personal dive gear includes, but is not limited to, dive equipment, clothing, supplies and other items unless otherwise noted. Students may purchase their personal dive gear, may use borrowed gear or may rent gear. If rental gear is needed, your Instructor may aid in your procurement of it. Irrespective, all gear is to be in good working condition and be current with regards to required maintenance and inspections.

• Fins, mask and snorkel;(booties are HIGHLY recommended);
• Compressed air cylinder (tank) and valve;
• BC with low-pressure inflator and back pack;
• Regulator with alternate air source and submersible pressure gauge;
• Weight belt and weights;
• Exposure protection (wetsuit, etc) for the diving conditions;
• Underwater timing device (i.e. water resistant watch);
• Swim suit, towel, personal clothing, etc.;
• Snack (high carbohydrate/fructose and/or fruit snacks recommended);
• Refreshments (soft drinks, sports drinks, water recommended);
• Funds for miscellaneous expenses;
