Bull Shoals Lake is a Scuba & water sports paradise. Almost 1,000 miles of rugged shoreline is open to visitors from all over the nation who come to fish, camp and relax.
Nineteen parks around the lake were developed through cooperative efforts of local, state and federal agencies for public use and enjoyment. They have camping and picnic facilities with tables, grills, drinking water, and rest rooms.
Commercial docks on the lake have boats and motors for rent, supplies for sale, and guides for hire. The Corps of Engineers provides launching areas and ramps for those who bring their own boats.
Water sports such as swimming and skiing are popular, as is cruising the hundreds of miles of lake arms and coves by motorboat or sailboat.
Scuba divers come to Bull Shoals from many states to enjoy their sport in the clear, blue water. Spearfishing is enjoyed year-round. Divers should contact state conservation areas for applicable regulations. They can fill their air tanks at various points around the lake.
Bull Shoal's resorts provide many services and amenities. Most offer beautiful lakeviews, private docks, and modern housekeeping cottages.
