Have you ever wondered what "CEI" stood for?

Well World Lynx was originally part of another local company, Computer Exchange, Inc. World Lynx was founded in 1994 with only 16 modems, which meant only 16 customers could be online at any given time. World Lynx quickly grew to become one of the largest providers in Arkansas.

In December of 1998 nine rural telephone companies under the partnership, Arkansas iNET, LLC, purchased World Lynx. Under the new ownership, World Lynx has continued to grow at an unprecedented rate. Currently World Lynx offers local Internet access in over 100 cities in Arkansas and Missouri.
