Introduction

Arkansas iNet, LLC, D/B/A World Lynx, provides statewide service and the prices and types of services we offer vary from location to location.

If you do not understand or need clarification on a particular point, please call us at 1-501-954-9090 or 888-775-9090. You can also submit an account support form online.


A. What Type of Account Do You Have? Limited or Unlimited?

When you opened an account with us, you chose one of two service options

(1) limited or (2) unlimited

The differences are defined as follows:

  1. A Limited account provides you with up to 20 hours of Internet access each month. Should you exceed the allotted number of hours, you will be charged at the rate of $1.00 per hour.
  2. An Unlimited account provides you with as many hours of Internet as you care to use during the month. Please note that unlimited access does not mean you are entitled to a dedicated line to our modem banks. It simply means you need not worry about the time of day and usage restrictions placed on Limited accounts.

B. Payment and Billing Information

Period Covered: The time period covered is the current calendar month. For instance, fees due on March 1 cover the period 3/1 through 3/31.

  1. Payment due date: The day of month in which you opened your account with World Lynx will be the due date for all subsequent months.
  2. Acceptable forms of payment: We accept all major credit and bank debit cards, automatic bank drafts (ACH) as well as personal checks and money orders.

    If you choose to pay by check, a statement will be mailed or e-mailed to you on the due date. You will be given 10 days from this date to remit your payment.

    If the payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, a $5.00 late fee will be charged to your account.

    If your check or ACH draft is returned for insufficient funds, your account will be charged a $25.00 processing fee.

    Notice to all credit card users: It is your responsibility to notify World Lynx when you receive a new credit card with an updated Expiration date.
  3. If a written cancellation is received 4 or more days after the original bill date an account will not be prorated.

C. Agent Responsibilites

In some areas of the state our subscribers have signed on to our service via a reselling agent. These agents are typically well established and reputable computer and/or business supply companies. Agents are not Internet service providers and cannot physically affect the level or quality of your service, nor do they have access to your billing information once it is entered into the World Lynx system. Agents are responsible for:

  • Establishing your account with World Lynx.
  • Ensuring that any and all payments collected at the time of your initial signup are forwarded to World Lynx. Or to obtain credit or debit card information and ACH forms which are sent to World Lynx.
  • Ensuring that you understand the terms of your agreement with World Lynx.

D. Cancellations
Voluntary termination of service: You may cancel your service with World Lynx at any time by submitting a written notice using one of the following methods:
  1. Fax request to (501) 225-2305
  2. E-mail request to credit@cei.net.
  3. Mail request to: World Lynx 10500 West Markham, Suite 110, Little Rock, AR 72205
Please be sure to include your full name, username, account number and the date in which you would like your service to be cancelled.

E. Credits and Refunds

Credits: When a charge is applied to your account incorrectly, World Lynx will credit your account upon notification.

Refunds: Refunds are issued when an error has occurred and there are no subsequent charges to which to apply the credit.

Refunds are not issued for unused time in a cancelled subscription.


F. Collections
Accounts that are past due 90 days will be submitted to our collection agency and a $25.00 service fee will be charged to your account to cover collection fees.

G. Communications
We believe communication is crucial in developing and maintaining an exceptional working relationship. We strive to keep all of our customers informed of updated services and points of general interest by means of letters and e-mails as well as posting notices on our web page. It is here on our home page (www.cei.net) that you will be informed of important information concerning your account with World Lynx. So please be sure to view our home page frequently.

H. Disclaimer

Yes, every set of policies have to have one. World Lynx does reserve the right to change its policies and procedures, with or without prior notice. And since this document may not be updated regularly or contain every possible situation, complying with Section G is imperative.
